Phew, it's been a long long time since I've submitted anything to dA, so I guess I'm due huh? I've been really bad about keeping up with my art and I haven't done any serious drawing or sketching until late last year since my last few drawings. I'm doing my best to work on my art again and here's one of the first images I did for this year.
I'm pretty happy with my progress so far and this took far too long to complete. Once I get used to digital painting again and do more drawing it'll all get faster, I just need to keep pushing through this . Sadly this took several days to complete and I kept putting off doing it some days, but the end result was nice. Originally done at 600 dpi and reduced to about 20% normal size.
Thanks , it took quite a long time. I had to repaint the face numerous times and the neck and below I probably painted over 10 times to get to look right =/

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
