Got most of my storyboards done and what happens? My file gets corrupted somehow -_-. I guess I should've taken it as a sign to make a back up file when PS was doing some wonky stuff. I was getting some bizarre artifacts when trying to use a gradient in a custom selection o.O.....so I saved, exited PS, opened PS again and tried to load the file I was working on..........and nothing.....it went kablooey

but I'm still just slowly working on Ne0 Pirates. Yes yes, it's been like five years or more, but I'm easily distract.....LOOK A SHINY! *chases* Oh....sorry...where was I? Oh yea, I'm still working on designing the characters for Ne0 Pirates still. I keep working on it and then getting frustrated and not working on it for awhile. So far I've decided to focus on Amano. I always tend to work on Neko, so I thought it'd be more beneficial to work on Amano and I have to say, he's starting to look pretty good facially, now I have to make sure to develop his body the way I want it to look. Overall my style's finally catching up to how I wanted the comic to look overall, so keep me motivated and I promise I'll have something nice to show for it

So I uploaded what I've been working on for school like promised =3. Surpringly the majority of it was all completed in the last month. The rest were completed the month before that. So yea, a crap ton of work done in two short months. Wow, I still can't believe I did this much in such a short time. Anyway, I'm on break for a couple weeks just relaxing for now, but hopefully this'll spark me to work on some new stuff for myself that's unrelated to school . I'll keep you guys posted

Believe it or not, I've been doing more art in the past month and a half that I've done in the last few years XD. Where's all the artwork you ask? Well.....most of it is much larger than I'm used to and honestly, I don't even know how to scan it. I'm so used to working at 8x10, 9x12 or similar sizes that I've never had a problem scanning. For class, I've had to do much larger format than I'm used to and I honestly don't want to do multiple scans and piece them together, because I think it'd look like crap.

I've done a few 18x24 pieces, some 8x10 paintings, an interesting photo collage and there's much more to come. It's summer semester and if anybody has ever considered doing art classes (studio) in the summer I highly suggest against it, unless you like a fast paced and heavy workload. Although in my defense, apparently I got one of the most strict professors who's quite demanding of me and my art. Which I guess is good. I hate her now, but I'm sure I'll be thanking her when I reflect on my progress. Right now I'm taking a break from an 18x24 fully graphite rendered drawing. I've never sat down to do one of these before and I've learned more patience with my art since you can only go so fast, especially when this is only your second formal art education class.

All in all, I'm super excited to be busting my ass off, dealing with late nights, lack of sleep and working from the moment I get home on artwork until I decide to head to bed at some ridiculous hour of the day. On a semi-related note. I just realized I'm about to hit 3000 hits, eep! I totally don't have anything prepared and being so busy in class, I doubt I'll have a proper celebratory image up. Oh well, I could always wait for 5k XD......*few years later* Hey!

So yea....the workload has been about the same, if not worse from the last time I updated. We've done another......four? five? projects since then? On top of trying to figure out working on my final, writing a short essay and currently working on a linoleum cutout for our block printing assignment. At least I'm doing decent in the class, that at least makes me feel all this effort is worthwhile.

Also, just realized I'm about 53 views from 3k views. I really should do something to mark the occasion, but no telling if I'll have time @_@.....hope I do though, just can't think of what to do yet.
